Most AI consultants are either leaders, operators, or academics. Matt is all three. His doctorate asked a question that maps directly onto AI today: why do some large enterprises adopt new technology while their competitors stall? He researched it firsthand, interviewing senior leaders at Cisco, Microsoft, Walmart, and other Fortune 500 companies about what really drives a major technology decision. The finding that held up is the one most consultants miss. Adoption is rarely about age or the technology itself. It comes down to literacy, leadership from the top, and whether the tool is aimed at a real problem people already feel. That research is now the backbone of how Omnine assesses AI readiness. Most consultants guess why an organization is stuck. Matt studied it and built the assessment around the answer.

On the commercial side, he has spent twenty years building and selling enterprise software, all the way to the C-suite, and has generated more than $100M in revenue along the way. As Chief Revenue Officer of an early-stage SaaS company, he built the revenue engine from nothing: pipeline, methodology, pricing, and an AI-powered sales engine that beat more than 80 competitors and lifted close rates from under 4% to over 15% in five months. Before that, as a top senior strategic enterprise account executive at a publicly traded leader in agentic AI operations, he closed eight-figure and multi-year SaaS deals, beat quota by more than 50%, and earned President's Club several years running.
